Crafting Spaces That Inspire Tomorrow
Started back in 2015 with just three of us crammed in a tiny office above a coffee shop on Queen West. We had one shared desk, way too much ambition, and honestly? No clue what we were getting into. But we knew buildings could do better - for people and the planet.
Ten years later, we've grown into a team that actually knows what they're doing (most days). We've learned that sustainable design isn't just about slapping solar panels on roofs - it's about understanding how spaces breathe, how light moves, how people actually live and work.
Every project teaches us something new. That's what keeps it interesting. From restoring century-old heritage buildings to designing net-zero commercial spaces, we're constantly figuring out better ways to build.
Three architects, one dream, and a really questionable lease agreement. We took on our first project - a small residential renovation in Leslieville. Client was skeptical, we were nervous, but it turned out pretty damn good.
Completed our first LEED-certified commercial building. This project changed everything for us - we realized sustainable design wasn't just possible, it was essential. Started incorporating green principles into literally every project.
Won our first heritage restoration award for bringing a 1920s warehouse back to life in the Distillery District. Learned that old buildings have stories worth preserving, and sometimes the greenest building is the one that's already standing.
Moved to our current studio on King West and doubled our team. Started taking on larger urban development projects, working with city planners to reimagine Toronto's evolving neighborhoods.
We're now tackling net-zero projects and exploring new materials that actually make sense. Still learning, still pushing boundaries, still excited about what comes next.
Look, we're not gonna pretend architecture is always glamorous. There are permit headaches, budget constraints, and clients who change their minds about bathroom tile at 3am. But here's the thing - we genuinely love solving these puzzles.
Every building we design affects real people's lives. Someone's gonna work in that office, live in that house, walk through that public space. That responsibility keeps us honest and pushes us to do better work.
"Design is about people, not just buildings."
We listen first, design second. Every site has its own character, every client their own vision. Our job is bringing those together in ways that work - functionally, sustainably, beautifully.
Principal Architect
Leads our heritage restoration projects and has an uncanny ability to see potential in buildings everyone else wants to demolish.
Sustainability Director
The guy who'll calculate the carbon footprint of your coffee maker. Obsessed with net-zero design and somehow makes it all actually work.
Design Lead
Runs our design studio and somehow keeps track of 15 projects at once. Her sketches have saved more client meetings than we can count.
Honestly? Because we care about getting it right. Not just meeting code requirements or hitting deadlines (though we do that too), but creating spaces that actually make sense for how you'll use them.
We're not gonna try to win awards with your project unless it also works perfectly for your needs. And yeah, we'll push back if we think something's a bad idea - that's part of the service.
